Introduction of self
Hello there! Welcome to my e-portfolio!
I am having lots of fun at my college placement where I am teaching a variety of non IT students the joy that can be had using ICT in their studies and future careers. I currently teach multimedia to Early Years degree students; Research and IT, Operational Use of Technology to undergraduates from many programmes and Keyskills IT to Hair, Beauty and Care students.
Semester 1 is flying by! I don't know where the time is going, it seems like 5 minutes ago I didn't even know where my college placement was and now I'm in and teaching! I am really enjoying both the course and the teaching placement, it's hard work but fun!
Please have a look at my learning journey so far by reading my learning autobiography My learning journey has also involved me becoming a student rep
Apart from my learning experiences what else makes me tick?

3B
This essay was quite simply a delight to share and assess Emma, thank you. Your work is of a consistently excellent standard far above that required for this module but you really shine in this reflective essay. Your awareness of your own reflective development is fab as you return to your journals and comment upon your own journey through this PGCE. Your integration of theory and practice demonstrates a confidence and maturity that is a real credit to you. You are engaged in a dialogue with these theorists – something many PGCE students struggle with. I am going to have to find another bunch of superlatives for next semester. This was an excellent essay which would easily meet the criteria for PC3012 – so we are just going to have to find other ways to push and challenge you reflectively next semester. I wish you lots of enjoyment for semester 2.

Comments:
Emma this ePortfolio is a credit to you and your approach to learning and teaching. Much of the work within this first reflective portfolio is of a standard I would be delighted with for PC3012. The challenge will be to challenge you even more for your second ePortfolio. Thank you for all of your inspirational work with your colleagues in our group - we are very lucky to have you! This is an excellent start to your teaching career. Good luck for semester 2.
